@ohnevergoingtoquit Im on my 2nd reversible blade in 240 hours worth of use, not exactly sure how many cuts were made in that amount of time, but it’s a lot. I could sharpen the blades if I want to I guess, but they are so cheap and plentiful, I can just replace the blade. Youre right, it’s not a good tool for stabbing, but for slashing it is great! and for exacting cuts. In a self-defense situation, I guess a person could use it to slash someone. I know box-cutters have been used by thugs.

Fitzen Knife Philosophy: Dress like some crazy mofo out of a Mad Max movie in a skirt.. no body wants to mess with that..

ya know john, the thing you touched on baout feeling it’s balance in your hand, i did that today actually. figured i’d spoil myself with the birthday knife of my choice so walking into my store i felt the cold steel spartan and knew it was a keeper. thanks for the vids on it it helped me make a decision on what large folding knife to invest in, keep up the great work hooah.

@FitzenKnives honeymoon eh matt? congrats to you and your bride dude!

raindog951 @ 6:15 am #

@24Rorschach You’re totally right of course. That knife scares everybody, including Judges!
You just have to make sure you’re not caught carrying it, and weigh up the risks of carrying it before you go out. I only ever carry mine for those occasions when I’m going into places where bad people go, which isn’t often now I’m away from London :-)

24Rorschach @ 7:06 am #

@TheEDCchannel The review table would probably collapse from all the metal that’s gonna be put on it.

24Rorschach @ 7:47 am #

@raindog951 Hell yeah man. Gotta be careful though. Carrying around a knife like that might make you look like a bad person in a court after using it for self defense. What sucks even more is that you probably wont ever get it back lol, most likely going to get locked up in the evidence room (aka, excuse for a cop to get a free knife). A knife like the ti lite wasn’t made for cutting boxes and wires, it was made for people lol.

Poor man’s wave!

Good vid! I think a lot of guys including myself would love to see the “how-to” knots and bolts of actually how to engage in a knife fight where 1) the perp is armed with a knife or gun, 2) the perp is not armed but threatening you and your loved ones (i.e. you would use knife to stop them and flee)

THANKS FOR IMPARTING YOUR KNOW HOW!

John….PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a video outlining the kit you carry, especially that stuff about your waist and wrists. PLEASE

Ubongo100 @ 11:08 am #

By the way Fitzen… …the lanyard on your knife catches on the tip of the knife…. and with the lanyard on, you can not use gravity to fold out the knife.

I love my Cold Steel Spartan! Great video!

ohnevergoingtoquit @ 12:35 pm #

@2ChillPillz yes your knife has a lot of uses but, they are razor blades. which break easily, in a self defense case it is very limited, plus its very limited on cutting angles plus you have to buy new razorblades my knife can be resharpened to be just as sharp as your razor blade.

recon1s14 @ 1:33 pm #

@chavezchavez556 LOL well technically Emerson invented the first wave feature, but Cold Steel invented their own, and in the proccess perfected it imop

raindog951 @ 2:08 pm #

@24Rorschach Just wanted to say I recommend that TiLite. I love mine. I reckon the moment you pull it out and flick it open the fight’s pretty much won, because it’s so scary!
The lock on it is the best liner lock I’ve seen, very strong indeed, and the blade is good quality steel, very sharp.
I don’t use mine for normal cutting much, as I want it to be ready for trouble and razor sharp.

Hey Fitzen, nice video!

Is there any meaning behind your nice looking jewelry and outfits or is it just something you like?

raindog951 @ 2:12 pm #

@jetpowered1 I reckon if she can get it in her bra she’s happy :-)
