Comments on Buck 112 Ranger, Lockback Folding Knife
There just isn’t anything like a Buck Knife. I’ve been a Buck owner for nearly forty years, now own a dozen different models and have absolutely no complaints.
My most recent acquisition is the Buck 112 Ranger. Slightly smaller than its big brother, the Buck 110, the Ranger is just as tough, just as functional, just as tenacious at holding an edge and, frankly, just as handsome. I was looking for a more compact knife that would offer the same quality and dependability as my 110 Folding Hunter. Frankly, there really wasn’t any other alternative.
And then there’s Buck’s lifetime guarantee. It may seem that when you buy a Buck you’re paying more than the knife is worth. But, think about it. Anything, and I mean anything happens to this knife while being appropriately used and Buck will send you another knife. Simple as that.

Buck is a quality company that makes great knives right here in the good ‘ol USA. A friend gave me one of these beauties almost 20 years ago, and it is still one of my favorite working knives. It’s comfortable to use and holds its edge well. If you sharpen it properly with good quality ceramic sticks, you can shave with this blade. Even after years on my belt and moderate use, it still looks great and has no corrosion at all. I bought this particular one for a nephew as his first working knife. It will serve him well for decades with proper care.

MY DAD BOUGHT ME A BUCK KNIFE WHEN I WAS 16. 31/2″ BLADE IN A BROWN
SHEATH.I’VE USED IT FOR 40 YEARS NOW, AND IT’S STILL AS GOOD AS NEW.
FOR YEARS I USED IT WHEN DUCK & DEER HUNTING,FISHING,AND NOW I USE IT
TO OPEN ALL THE BOXES THAT ARRIVE FROM SHOPPING ON LINE. I BOUGHT
MANY OVER THE YEARS,AS THEY MAKE THE PERFECT GIFT. THEY’RE DURABLE,
FUNCTIONABLE,AND INEXPENSIVE. MADE IN AMERICA!

I purchased this knife as a more “traditional” pocket knife to carry on certain occasions. It is honestly a bit heavy for pocket carry, because it is sturdy and thick; however, that is why a sheath also comes with it. Regardless, I am very happy with my purchase, and would recommend Buck Knives to anyone who would want a quality knife.

This product is sharp as a razor. That’s what I was looking for so I can skin a deer real easy. Its real easy to carry around because of the stealth that comes with the knife. This will make a great product for people who like the great outdoors. I really love my knife.
