Comments on Sue’s Folding Knives
@SpartanJohns Hey I actually have a RAT 1 and love it! I don’t normally like knives heavier than 4 oz but that knife is like butter. I use it mostly for camping.
some nice things. i sugest you forget about the tenacious. i got one and used it the day i bought it. now it just sits there. i use my ontario RAT-1 everyday. might be a little on the heavy side, but if you don’t mind the weight(i don’t), it is my beater knife and my favorite at the same time.
f*** the netherlands stupid country where i live in !!! there illigal there!
btw nice vid
@martinaee Thanks for the suggestion. “Sack Ups”
Nice vid. For the price of knives I see you have and the taste in Spyderco/Benchmade I suggest you get a Spyderco Tenacious if you don’t have one already. Awesome blade.
P.S. What is the pouch that you keep those in called?
A girl that collects knives?! My kind of women!
@nightmarefacility it’s great for the price! comes super sharp and i suck at sharpening but can put an edge back on it easily. it has a thin profile so fits in the pocket nicely. the handle is kinda cheapo frn but what can you expect from the price. keeps it light weight though. probably my fav low budget folder, other than an opinel
how is that ka bar dozier folder? i really want one but i haven’t heard much about them…
nice knives girl.
@CanItAlready LOL. I’m a girl with small hands. I bet they do look BIG
Must be the camera angle. The Delica and Mini Grip look really big when you’re holding them up. I know they’re not ’cause I’ve got one of each, but they look like they are.
Which reminds me, I’m gonna hafta do a new knife vid. Who’d have thought a fountain pen list would be a good place to buy knives?
@FrenziedCalm yes i have the 707 and it’s my fav benchmade. ended up trading away the mini grip. i prefer the narrower handle. might have to get a sage at some pt. think the sage 3 is coming out soon?
nice collection! I really love the Benchmade 707 Sequel as a small, light everyday carry knife, one of my favorites. Check it out if you need something like that. The Benchmade Barrage is also very nice, especially if you use your knife alot, its thicker handle and assist opening is nice for that. Spycerco’s Persistence is also VERY high on my love list, as are the Spyderco Sages! Check them all out if you get the chance
That’s a Flash II.
Excellent vid, very usefull factual comparison, and no “tactical” nonsense, thank you !
Nice collection of knives, Sue. A woman who digs knifes and flashlights makes a lot of guys smile.
Oh wow, yea the collection thing is quite addiction lol. It’s actually a sickness =(
Great collection! Just stumbled across your vids… you should definitely think about making some more!
sigh i remember my addiction to collecting knives i couldnt stop till i ran out of money/knives i wanted
yes size does matter LOL thats what she said
To be honest AUS-8 is not a good steel. At least for me it isn’t. I’ve had many bad experiences with it. It doesn’t hold its edge long, it’s very hard to get the edge back on it, and it has horrible rust resistance. I think AUS-8 is a crap steel! I would much rather have some VG-10 or S30V on my blades.
All are great knives but it sounds like the Dozier is the best value. Guess I gotta get me one:)
You have some awesome knives. I really want to get a Ganyana.
Yeah, you got the bug bad and so quick.
Yeah, you’ve got the bug alright. I like the Boker…unusual shape. Good job on the vid.
